Review: Sky suites and Thai eats at The Royal Lancaster London
With characterful design elements that pay homage to its Thai owners, this park-adjacent penthouse offers mindful meetings and spectacular soirees.
As golden hour falls, a pale yellow light kisses the marble and light wood surfaces, bathing my entire suite in a soft glow. I’m stretched across a turquoise velvet sofa, a cold and creamy lychee martini in my grasp, watching the sun set over the Italian Gardens in Hyde Park.
I’m in the Park Suite at the Royal Lancaster, enjoying the unobstructed views of clear summer skies and leafy treetops from the panoramic windows. For one night only, the hotel is my city bolthole, where I can experience all the delights that delegates can experience within its walls.
